Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) is getting ready to prepare more than 300,000 meals for the Dubai Airshow. To manage this huge task, the company has set up two large kitchens at the event and assigned around 2,600 staff members. They will be serving food across more than 150 chalets, pavilions, and exhibition stands, making sure every visitor and participant is well taken care of.
People from 98 different countries are expected to attend, so EKFC’s chefs and interns have planned a wide variety of dishes from around the world. The menu includes everything from truffle beef cheeks and Emirati tandoori lobster to traditional Indian korma. More than 35,000 meals have already been pre-booked, showing the high level of demand and preparation required.
EKFC is also focusing on sustainability this year. They have stopped using plastic bottles, started recycling glass, and are ensuring that any leftover food is either donated or composted. With fast construction, on-site facilities, and smooth logistics, EKFC is working to deliver high-quality service and a great experience for everyone attending one of Dubai’s biggest and busiest events.
