Seventy-seven cadets have successfully completed their training at the Emirates Flight Training Academy, marking another important step in the airline’s long-term plan to develop skilled pilots for the future.
The graduating group included 52 Emirati cadets who were part of the UAE National Pilot Cadet Programme, highlighting Emirates’ continued focus on developing local talent. Alongside them were 25 international cadets from 15 different countries, reflecting the academy’s global reach and diverse learning environment.
With the completion of this batch, the total number of pilots trained by the Emirates Flight Training Academy has now exceeded 300. This achievement underlines the academy’s growing role in supporting Emirates’ expanding operations. Speaking on the occasion, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Operating Officer, Adel Al Redha, shared that the airline plans to recruit around 5,000 pilots over the next eight to ten years to meet future demand and fleet growth.
During the ceremony, several cadets were recognised for outstanding performance and excellence throughout their training. These awards highlighted the academy’s high training standards, advanced facilities, and strong emphasis on discipline, safety, and professional development.
The graduation event reflected Emirates’ commitment to building a strong pipeline of highly trained pilots while promoting diversity and excellence in aviation. It also reinforced the airline’s long-term vision of investing in people to support the future of global air travel.
