Dubai Unveils New Access Points from E311 to Al Warqaa, Cutting Travel Time by Over 16 Minutes

A new project in Dubai will add more entrance and exit points to the Al Warqa’a area, providing direct access to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road. Announced by the Roads and Transport Authority, this initiative aims to significantly cut down travel time by 80%. What used to take 20 minutes will now take only 3.5 minutes, and travel distances will be reduced from 5.7 kilometers to just 1.5 kilometers.

The project, expected to be finished within a year, will also increase the road’s capacity to handle 5,000 more vehicles per hour. As part of this, the internal road network in the area will be expanded, covering eight kilometers to better manage increasing traffic and improve connections.

The goal of the project is to make commuting easier and faster for residents and drivers by reducing both the time spent on the road and the distance they need to travel. This upgrade is also meant to accommodate the growing number of vehicles and improve the overall road infrastructure in the Al Warqa’a area.
