King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) has signed 15 new agreements with various government organizations and private companies to strengthen research and development in key areas such as defense, artificial intelligence (AI), and nuclear energy.
One of these agreements includes a collaboration with the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy. Together, they plan to work on advancing important technologies, including hydrogen and AI, to address future challenges and opportunities.
KFUPM has also partnered with the Ministry of Defense and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). These collaborations will focus on developing academic programs, conducting specialized training, and initiating research projects to support innovation and growth in these fields.
The main goal of these partnerships is to improve skills, promote cutting-edge technology, and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s national capabilities in critical sectors. This initiative is part of a larger effort to foster innovation and position the country as a leader in these advanced industries.
