Air India Express has announced an increase in its free check-in baggage allowance for passengers traveling between the UAE, Middle East, and other destinations. Travelers can now check in up to 30kg of baggage without any additional charges.
In addition to this, the airline provides a cabin baggage allowance of 7kg, which can be carried in up to two pieces. Families traveling with infants have even more flexibility, as they are allowed an extra 10kg of check-in baggage, bringing their total baggage allowance to 47kg, including cabin baggage.
Owned by the Tata Group, Air India Express currently operates 450 flights every week. The airline has plans to grow its operations further, expanding its network to over 50 destinations. New routes will include popular locations like Bangkok, Phuket, and additional cities in the Middle East.
Passengers looking for more customized options can also take advantage of discounted baggage plans like Xpress Lite and Xpress Biz, which offer higher baggage allowances at reduced rates.
This update is expected to make traveling more convenient for passengers, especially families and those with additional luggage needs.
