    Hamdan Bin Mohammed Appoints New CEOs at Knowledge and Human Development Authority

    His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, has made a number of important appointments to leadership roles within the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). These decisions were made in his role as Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

    The new appointments include several experienced professionals who will each lead key areas within the KHDA, an organization responsible for overseeing the development and quality of education and human development in Dubai.

    Fatma Ibrahim Abdullah Belrehif has been named the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Quality Assurance and Compliance Establishment. Her appointment was made through Executive Council Resolution No. 21 of 2025. In her new role, she will be responsible for making sure that education providers in Dubai meet the required standards and follow the rules set by the authority.

    Dr. Wafi Dawood Mousa Jafar Ali has been appointed CEO of the Strategic Development Sector, under Resolution No. 22. He will focus on planning and implementing long-term strategies that help improve the overall education landscape in Dubai.

    Dr. Abdulrahman Hassan Abdullah Nasser will take on the role of CEO of the Institutional Support Sector, as outlined in Resolution No. 23. His work will involve supporting the internal operations of KHDA, ensuring that the organization runs efficiently and effectively.

    Dr. Amina Abdullah Ibrahim Ghuloom Al Maazmi has been appointed CEO of the Human Development and Advancement Sector, according to Resolution No. 24. She will work on initiatives aimed at personal and professional growth for individuals across Dubai.

    Finally, Dr. Saeed Mubarak Khalfan Kharbash Al Marri has been appointed CEO of the Policy, Research, and Programmes Sector under Resolution No. 25. He will lead efforts to develop evidence-based policies and programs that support the education sector.

    These appointments reflect Dubai’s commitment to strengthening its education system and investing in talented leadership to support future growth and innovation in human development.
