New Private Astronaut training Centre Set to Open in UAE

The United Arab Emirates is planning to open its first private astronaut training center called the Human Spaceflight Training Center. The project is being led by BLINC Space Limited, together with investor Prabhav Sharma.

This new center will help prepare astronauts for space missions by focusing on areas such as astronaut readiness, space medicine, and human performance. It will not only support government-led missions but also private space programs, creating a bridge between both sectors.

The aim is to train hundreds of astronauts in the coming years, open new opportunities for high-tech jobs, and strengthen the UAE’s collaboration with international space organizations like NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA).

This initiative represents a major milestone in the UAE’s growing efforts to become a key player in global space exploration and innovation.
