Dubai’s Margham desert will soon become home to one of the largest artworks in the world with the launch of CLIO Desert Park. The project will feature a unique, spaceship-shaped cultural landmark that is connected to the surrounding desert through around 10 kilometres of river-like art installations.
The park will cover more than one million square metres, turning a large part of the desert into an open cultural and artistic space. The project has been designed by artist Agron Hoti along with architect Matteo Antonelli. At the heart of the park will be CLIO House, which will serve as the main center for exhibitions, art displays, cultural programs, and public events.
CLIO Desert Park is being developed with the idea of bringing people together and promoting inclusion, peace, and harmony. It aims to create a strong connection between art, nature, and human creativity, while respecting the natural beauty of the desert environment.
Once completed, the project is expected to attract millions of visitors from around the world. It is designed not just as an artwork, but as a cultural destination where people can explore, reflect, and experience art on a massive scale in the middle of the desert.
