UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited the UMEX and SimTEX 2026 exhibitions at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, where he reviewed the latest developments in unmanned systems, simulation technologies, robotics, and artificial intelligence.
The exhibitions were organised by ADNEC Group in collaboration with the Ministry of Defence and the Tawazun Council. They attracted a wide range of leading local and international companies, offering a platform to showcase advanced technologies and innovative solutions from around the world.
During his visit, Sheikh Mohamed toured several pavilions and spoke with exhibitors to learn more about their products and ideas. He praised the exhibitions for promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise across civil, commercial, and defence sectors, and for encouraging cooperation between different industries.
He also highlighted the importance of such events in supporting innovation and technological progress. Sheikh Mohamed stressed that UMEX and SimTEX play a key role in strengthening the UAE’s position as a global centre for future technologies, advanced research, and innovation, while reflecting the country’s commitment to staying at the forefront of modern technological development.
