The UAE has officially announced the Eid Al Fitr holidays for both public and private sector employees in 2026. According to the details shared, federal government employees will enjoy a four-day break from March 19 to March 22. Meanwhile, private sector workers will observe holidays from March 19 to March 21.
However, the duration of the private sector holiday may be extended to March 22 if the holy month of Ramadan completes 30 days. In that case, employees in both sectors would return to work on March 23. The final confirmation will depend on the official moon sighting and the announcement marking the end of Ramadan.
These holidays will give residents across the UAE an opportunity to celebrate Eid Al Fitr with family and loved ones, marking the conclusion of a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection.
