Abu Dhabi Police recently fulfilled the heartfelt wish of two young brothers by inviting them to take part in a special Children’s Patrol experience in Al Ain, as part of an initiative aimed at raising awareness about road safety among the younger generation. The visit was thoughtfully arranged by the Traffic Awareness and Education Branch, creating a memorable and educational experience for the children. During the program, the boys had the unique opportunity to ride in an official patrol vehicle, interact with officers, and gain firsthand insight into the responsibilities and daily duties of the police. Through engaging and interactive sessions, they also learned about essential traffic rules and the importance of staying safe on the roads.
Brigadier Mahmoud Yousef Al Baloushi emphasized that such initiatives play a vital role in strengthening the connection between the police and the community. He noted that these activities not only educate children about safety and responsibility but also help build trust, encourage positive behavior, and promote a sense of social unity. At the end of the visit, the two brothers, along with other participating children, were presented with commemorative gifts to mark the occasion. Families in attendance were also provided with valuable guidance on road safety practices and responsible conduct, making the experience both meaningful and impactful for everyone involved.
