Al Mamzar Beach in Dubai has officially reopened to the public after undergoing a major redevelopment project valued at Dh500 million, transforming it into a modern and more inclusive coastal destination. The upgraded beachfront now offers a wide range of new attractions and facilities designed to enhance the visitor experience, including dedicated areas for night swimming, a scenic floating walkway, and expanded options for water sports. New recreational additions such as padel courts, cycling paths, running tracks, and fully equipped outdoor gyms aim to cater to both fitness enthusiasts and families looking for leisure activities.
One of the standout features of the redevelopment is the introduction of a 24/7 women-only beach, providing greater privacy and accessibility. The site has also been redesigned with improved infrastructure to better accommodate People of Determination, ensuring inclusivity across all areas. Spanning over 5.5 kilometres, the interconnected beach and park pathways offer a seamless experience for walking, jogging, and cycling along the coastline.
Visitors can now enjoy a variety of water-based activities, including jet skiing, kayaking, paddle boating, and flyboarding, making the beach a more dynamic attraction for tourists and residents alike. This large-scale upgrade is part of Dubai’s broader Dh3 billion coastal development initiative, which focuses on expanding public beach access, enhancing amenities, and strengthening the city’s appeal as a global tourism hub.
