Dubai has launched a faster tourist visa service, allowing eligible visitors to obtain a single-entry tourist visa within 48 working hours of submitting the required documents. The initiative is designed to make travel to the emirate quicker and more convenient for international tourists.
Visitors can apply for either a 30-day or 60-day tourist visa through authorized travel and tourism offices. Applicants are required to provide a valid passport, a recent photograph, and other supporting documents where necessary.
The new system is expected to help travelers reduce costs by avoiding expensive last-minute processing and visa extension fees. Industry experts say visitors who choose longer-duration visas may save up to 60 percent compared with repeatedly extending shorter visas.
The streamlined process is part of Dubai’s ongoing efforts to enhance visitor experiences and strengthen its position as a leading global tourism destination. Officials have advised travelers to use approved channels and submit complete documentation to ensure smooth and timely processing.
