UAE Petrol Prices to Drop in July After Four Months of Increases

UAE motorists may finally receive some welcome relief in July, as fuel prices are expected to decline after four consecutive months of increases.

The anticipated reduction comes as global oil markets have eased significantly, with Brent crude prices falling back toward pre-conflict levels following improved stability in international energy markets and the gradual recovery of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

If current market trends continue, prices for Super 98, Special 95, E-Plus 91 petrol, as well as diesel, are likely to register a noticeable decrease.

Although the UAE’s official fuel prices for July have not yet been announced, industry experts believe this could be the first meaningful reduction in fuel costs since February.

The expected price cut is likely to provide financial relief for motorists, businesses, and transport operators who have faced steadily rising fuel expenses over the past several months.

Lower fuel prices could also help reduce transportation costs and ease some inflationary pressure across various sectors of the UAE economy.
