has been crowned the UAE Champion of the 10th Arab Reading Challenge after emerging victorious among a record 830,000 students from schools across the country.
The 12-year-old student from Al Ittihad National Private School in Abu Dhabi secured the top honor following an outstanding performance in the nationwide competition.
Dana received the title during a ceremony held at the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai. With the national victory, she will now represent the UAE in the final stage of the Arab Reading Challenge, where she will compete for the overall title against champions from other participating countries.
The Arab Reading Challenge, launched by , is one of the world’s largest reading initiatives aimed at encouraging young people to develop a lifelong habit of reading and expanding their knowledge.
The latest edition attracted more than 40 million students from 60 countries, highlighting the initiative’s growing global impact and commitment to promoting education and literacy.
