Dubai Airports is preparing for one of its busiest travel periods of the year, with nearly 3 million passengers expected to pass through its terminals during the first half of July.
As travel demand continues to surge during the holiday season, authorities have implemented additional measures to ensure faster processing, improved efficiency, and a smoother airport experience for arriving and departing passengers.
To support the anticipated increase in traffic, Dubai Customs has deployed advanced inspection technologies capable of screening baggage in as little as seven seconds.
The system is backed by 19 state-of-the-art baggage screening systems and 77 detection and inspection units operating across the airport’s terminals, helping strengthen security while reducing waiting times. In addition, dedicated animal inspection rooms have been established at Terminals 1, 2, and 3 to streamline procedures for passengers travelling with animals.
Officials have also advised travellers to familiarize themselves with customs regulations, prohibited items, and duty-free allowances before their journey to avoid delays and enjoy a seamless travel experience through Dubai Airports.
