Sharjah Charity International provided medical assistance worth Dh23.5 million to 799 patients during the first half of 2026, helping hundreds of individuals receive life-saving treatment and essential healthcare services.
The financial support was directed toward patients suffering from serious and chronic illnesses, including cancer, kidney failure, heart conditions, and other critical medical cases.
The charity covered a wide range of healthcare expenses, including dialysis sessions for kidney patients, chemotherapy and cancer treatments, complex surgeries, organ transplant procedures, and long-term care for people living with chronic diseases.
According to officials, the programme is designed to ease the financial burden on individuals and families who are unable to afford costly medical treatment. By providing direct support, the initiative ensures that vulnerable patients can access the healthcare they need without delays caused by financial hardship.
