Dubai’s ambitious Metro Blue Line project has achieved another significant milestone with the completion of a 1.2-kilometre tunnel, marking steady progress toward expanding the city’s public transport network.
Construction is also moving forward at the underground Dragon Mart station, where more than 580 workers are actively developing the 39,480-square-metre facility. Meanwhile, the tunnel boring machine continues its journey toward Al Warqa, advancing the project’s underground infrastructure.
The completed tunnel will accommodate two Metro tracks, while work is simultaneously progressing at nearby International City stations.
Operating around the clock, the Blue Line project is expected to enhance connectivity, reduce travel times, and support Dubai’s growing population by providing a faster, more efficient, and sustainable transportation system across key areas of the city.
