Qatar has unveiled 11 integrated digital customs and tax services as part of its ongoing efforts to modernise government operations, simplify business procedures, and enhance the overall experience for companies operating in the country.
The initiative is designed to reduce administrative burdens, speed up transactions, and improve coordination between key government entities.
The new system seamlessly connects the Al Nadeeb customs clearance platform with the Dhareeba tax management system, allowing secure and automated data exchange between the two platforms.
By eliminating many manual processes and reducing duplicate data entry, the integration is expected to increase efficiency, minimise errors, and accelerate customs and tax-related procedures for businesses.
Officials stated that the digital integration will improve data accuracy, strengthen institutional collaboration, and provide businesses with faster and more reliable government services.
The platform is also expected to enhance transparency, support regulatory compliance, and create a more streamlined environment for trade and investment.
The initiative forms part of Qatar’s broader digital transformation strategy and supports the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030, which focuses on building a knowledge-based economy through innovation, advanced technology, and efficient public services.
By introducing these integrated digital solutions, Qatar aims to reinforce its position as a leading regional hub for business while making it easier for companies to operate, invest, and grow within the country.
