Dubai has added a new lane on Sheikh Zayed Road near Burj Khalifa as part of an RTA traffic improvement project.
The upgrade increases the road’s capacity by 17%, providing additional space for the growing volume of vehicles in one of the city’s busiest areas.
The project is also expected to reduce peak-hour travel times by up to 10%, helping ease congestion and making daily commutes smoother for motorists.
The RTA says the improvement is aimed at enhancing traffic flow and supporting Dubai’s growing transportation needs.
