More than 100 overseas Filipino workers and their dependents in Abu Dhabi benefited from free medical consultations and health screenings through the “Beat the Heat” campaign, supporting their health and well-being during the UAE’s intense summer conditions.
The initiative provided a range of essential healthcare services, including general practitioner consultations, vital sign checks, eye examinations, and glucose testing.
Participants were also able to access several Philippine government services, including contract verification, assistance to nationals, social security support, and Pag-IBIG services.
The campaign went beyond healthcare by offering financial literacy sessions and voter registration assistance, creating a one-stop platform for Filipino workers and their families.
By bringing medical, government, and community support services closer to the Filipino community, the initiative aimed to make essential assistance more accessible while promoting health, financial awareness, and civic participation.
