The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Informa have agreed to continue working together to host the Middle East Film & Comic Con (MEFCC) in Abu Dhabi until the year 2027.
After a very successful event in 2025, where more than 38,000 people attended, MEFCC has proven itself to be the leading pop culture event in the region. Each year, it continues to grow bigger and more popular. The event brings together famous international celebrities, artists, and over 400 different brands, showing the world that Abu Dhabi is becoming a major destination for entertainment and tourism.
The organizers have even bigger plans for the future, aiming to welcome more than 50,000 visitors in the coming years. This growth supports Abu Dhabi’s long-term Tourism Strategy 2030, which focuses on attracting more visitors and boosting the city’s role as a cultural and entertainment hub.
Visitors to MEFCC can enjoy many exciting attractions. These include Artist Alley, where fans can meet talented artists and creators, a large Gaming Zone where people can play and compete in video games, and many other fun activities for all ages.
Thanks to its growing popularity and the strong support from DCT Abu Dhabi and Informa, MEFCC is set to continue being one of the most exciting and important events in the Middle East’s entertainment calendar.
