Abu Dhabi has introduced new fines for people who store items on their balconies or rooftops in a way that harms the city’s appearance or poses a health risk. The goal is to keep the city looking clean and to protect public health.
Anyone found violating this rule will face a fine of at least 500 dirhams. If the offense is repeated, the fine can go up to 2,000 dirhams. These rules are part of a broader effort to create a sustainable and well-maintained urban environment.
In addition to these fines, authorities have also placed strict penalties on other violations such as making unapproved changes to buildings, littering in public spaces, and allowing too many people to live in one residential unit.
To make sure these rules are followed, city officials have increased inspections and are closely monitoring buildings and public areas. These measures are intended to improve the quality of life for residents and ensure Abu Dhabi remains a clean, organized, and safe city.
