Disney created a special moment this year as Mickey and Minnie Mouse celebrated Diwali for the very first time at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom in Florida.
The beloved characters were seen in traditional Indian clothes — Mickey wore a beautifully embroidered kurta, while Minnie looked stunning in a sparkling saree. They joined the grand Diwali Dance Fest Parade, which filled the streets with lights, music, and joy.
The parade featured more than 450 dancers and 25 international groups, all coming together to celebrate the Festival of Lights in true Disney style. Visitors were amazed by the colorful performances and the spirit of cultural harmony on display.
People from all over the world loved seeing Disney honor India’s culture and traditions in such a heartwarming way. It was a magical celebration that brought smiles, excitement, and a sense of unity to everyone who watched — reminding the world that Diwali is a festival that shines brightest when shared with love and togetherness.
