The Drone Racing World Cup has officially started at Boulevard City in Riyadh, bringing exciting competition and a prize pool of over $346,500.
This three-day event, which is part of the Riyadh Season festivities, marks the first time the Drone Racing World Cup is being held in the Middle East and North Africa. It has been organized by the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming, and Drones in collaboration with the World Air Sports Federation.
The competition has drawn some of the top drone racing champions from around the world, including Kim Minjae, Yuki Hashimoto, and Killian Rousseau. Additionally, local Saudi pilots are participating, showcasing their skills on this prestigious platform.
Beyond the high-speed races, the event offers a variety of engaging activities for attendees. These include drone workshops, speed competitions, and a special testing zone where visitors can explore and learn more about drone technology.
