The Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a temporary traffic diversion affecting Sheikh Rashid Road in the direction of 2nd December Street. This diversion will extend from the bridge leading to the Trade Centre Roundabout and is expected to remain in place as part of ongoing infrastructure work.
Additionally, vehicles traveling on Al Majlis Street toward the Trade Centre Roundabout will be rerouted via Zabeel Palace Street. The new traffic arrangement will come into effect on Sunday, March 15, 2026, and is designed to facilitate the completion of new bridges being constructed under the Trade Centre Roundabout Development Project. The project aims to enhance traffic flow and is scheduled for completion and opening in October 2026.
Motorists are strongly encouraged to plan their routes ahead of time and adhere closely to all posted traffic signs to ensure safe and smooth travel during this period. Drivers should anticipate possible delays and exercise caution while navigating the diversion.
