Dubai Commits Dh 560 Million for Mosque Construction in Key Areas

Dubai has announced a major initiative to build new mosques in important locations across the city, with a commitment of Dh560 million. This effort is part of the government’s plan to strengthen cultural and humanitarian values, ensuring that residents and visitors have access to well-maintained places of worship.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, recently met with individuals and organizations involved in supporting mosque construction. He expressed his gratitude to mosque patrons and real estate developers for their contributions, acknowledging their role in enhancing religious and community spaces in the city.

To ensure the effective development and maintenance of these mosques, a strategic agreement has been established between the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department and the Dubai Land Department. This collaboration will focus on integrating mosque construction within real estate developments, making it easier for communities to access these essential places of worship.

Beyond providing prayer spaces, this initiative reflects Dubai’s broader vision of fostering strong cultural and family values. It also reinforces the city’s commitment to humanitarian efforts, ensuring that Dubai continues to be recognized globally as a leader in community development and social responsibility.
