Expo City Dubai has recently announced the temporary closure of two of its popular attractions, the “Garden in the Sky” and “Rashid’s Playground.” This pause will begin from October 1, 2023, although the reopening date has not been specified.
The “Garden in the Sky” had undergone a temporary closure earlier this year in May for routine maintenance. The attraction reopened at the beginning of August, allowing visitors to once again enjoy this unique experience. The “Garden in the Sky” is a rotating observation tower that lifts visitors 55 meters above the ground, providing stunning panoramic views of the city. The upper deck of the tower is adorned with greenery, and at night, the base of the tower is beautifully lit, enhancing the overall experience.
Another attraction affected by this temporary closure is “Rashid’s Playground,” located at Jubilee Park. This lively and colorful space is specially designed for children and offers an ocean-themed adventure. Children can enjoy playful features like sharks on springs, whale slides, ocean liners, and an interactive 3D maze model, providing an exciting and interactive experience.
While the temporary closure may disappoint some visitors, it is important to understand that this pause is essential to ensure the attractions are well-maintained and in optimal condition for future visitors. Expo City Dubai remains committed to offering a safe and enjoyable experience to all its visitors, and routine maintenance is a part of fulfilling this commitment.
