Dubai Govt Opens Karachi Office to Support Pakistani Business

The Dubai government has opened a new office in Karachi to make things easier for Pakistani businesses and to further strengthen trade between the two sides.

Official figures show that non-oil trade between Pakistan and Dubai has grown to AED 22.8 billion, which is roughly PKR 1.73 trillion. This reflects a strong and steady business relationship.

In the last four years, there has been a major increase in Pakistani companies registering with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce—up by 161 percent. There are now more than 33,000 Pakistani firms registered, and many others are also operating in Dubai’s free zones and across different Emirates.

The new office in Karachi is expected to support this growing interest by making procedures simpler, offering guidance, and helping businesses enter the Dubai market more smoothly. Officials hope it will encourage even more companies from Pakistan to expand their operations in Dubai and benefit from new opportunities.
