The Community Development Authority (CDA) organized the ‘Dubai Iftar’ at Al Wasl Plaza in Expo City on Sunday. This special gathering brought together people from different religions, cultures, and communities to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan.
This was the fourth edition of the event and welcomed around 1,000 attendees from various backgrounds. The purpose was to promote peace, unity, and respect among people of all faiths. The event highlighted the values of coexistence and religious freedom, which are important in the UAE.
Many important figures attended the iftar, including religious leaders, diplomats, community representatives, and government officials. They all emphasized the importance of mutual respect and harmony in society.
The event also reflected the cultural diversity of the UAE. Leaders from the Hindu, Christian, and Sikh communities were present and expressed their appreciation for the UAE’s commitment to tolerance, safety, and multiculturalism. They acknowledged the country’s efforts in making people from different backgrounds feel welcome and respected.
Through such gatherings, the UAE continues to strengthen its message of inclusion and peaceful coexistence, showing the world how people of different faiths can live and celebrate together in harmony.
