Dubai Customs has officially introduced a Green Corridor in partnership with Oman, aimed at simplifying and accelerating the movement of sea and air cargo shipments between the two countries. This initiative is designed to enhance trade efficiency, reduce transit times, and strengthen overall supply chain operations.
Under this new arrangement, shipments arriving at Omani ports will benefit from fast-track customs procedures, allowing them to move quickly and smoothly through the necessary regulatory checks. Transit declarations for goods will be submitted while still in Oman, ensuring that all documentation is in order before the cargo enters the corridor toward Dubai.
To maintain the security and integrity of shipments throughout the journey, a shipping agent’s seal will be applied, guaranteeing that goods remain untouched and fully accounted for until they reach their final destination in Dubai. This collaborative effort reflects a commitment to fostering stronger trade relations and improving logistical efficiency between the two nations.
