Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced an extension in Dubai Metro working hours on Sunday, February 1, to facilitate smooth travel across the city. The decision comes ahead of the Dubai Marathon 2026, expected to attract large crowds.
According to the authority, metro services will operate from 5am until 12am, allowing participants and spectators convenient access to marathon routes and key locations. The move aims to reduce road congestion and support public transport use.
Officials encouraged residents and visitors to plan their journeys in advance and use public transport to avoid delays during the major sporting event.
