Dubai has opened two newly built bridges at the Trade Centre roundabout, bringing major relief to daily commuters and motorists. The new bridges have reduced travel time in the area from around 10 minutes to just 2 minutes, making journeys much faster and smoother.
These bridges improve traffic movement between key roads, including 2nd December Street, Sheikh Rashid Road, Al Majlis Street, and other nearby routes. Each bridge has two lanes in both directions and can handle up to 6,000 vehicles per hour, helping traffic flow more efficiently during peak hours.
The Roads and Transport Authority completed and opened the project ahead of schedule, highlighting its commitment to improving road infrastructure in the city. The upgrade targets one of Dubai’s busiest intersections, which often experienced heavy congestion, especially during rush hours.
With this improvement, residents, business owners, and daily commuters in surrounding areas are expected to benefit from shorter travel times, reduced traffic delays, and a more comfortable driving experience. The project is part of Dubai’s wider efforts to enhance mobility, support economic activity, and improve overall quality of life.
