Dubai Police have taken strict action against a driver after a video of him performing dangerous stunts on a public road went viral on social media. The driver was fined Dh10,000 (around Rs 7.62 lakh), and his sports car was impounded.
According to the authorities, the video showed the driver driving recklessly and creating loud noise, which put other road users at serious risk. After the footage spread online, Dubai Police quickly traced the driver, identified him, and took legal action.
Police officials said that such behavior is extremely dangerous and can easily lead to serious accidents or loss of life. They stressed that public roads are not meant for stunts or racing and that everyone has a responsibility to follow traffic laws.
Dubai Police also warned the public that recording or sharing videos that promote dangerous driving can result in legal consequences. The incident reflects the authorities’ strong commitment to road safety and their efforts to ensure responsible behavior both on the roads and on social media.
