Dubai Police has started the 11th edition of the Anti-Human Trafficking Specialist Diploma, working in partnership with the Dubai Judicial Institute, the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The program has attracted 74 participants representing nine Gulf and Arab countries, creating a diverse group of professionals who will share their knowledge and experiences in the fight against human trafficking.
The diploma is designed to build strong expertise in the region and beyond, giving participants the tools they need to identify, prevent, and combat human trafficking.
The training not only focuses on laws and enforcement but also highlights the importance of protecting human rights, especially those of women and children, who are often the most vulnerable targets of these crimes.
For more than ten years, this program has helped create a wide network of specialists dedicated to this important cause. Graduates of earlier editions are now contributing to various national and international efforts, showing how the program has had a long-lasting impact.
Human trafficking remains a serious global challenge, and the UAE has consistently worked to support initiatives that protect people’s dignity and safety. By hosting and continuing this diploma, Dubai Police is sending a clear message of its commitment to justice, cooperation, and international solidarity.
This initiative also strengthens partnerships with international organizations, ensuring that efforts against trafficking are coordinated and effective. The diploma is another step toward creating a world where human rights are safeguarded, and vulnerable communities are given the protection they deserve.
