Dubai will host the World Government Summit 2026 from February 3 to February 5 at Madinat Jumeirah. This edition is expected to be the biggest in the summit’s history, bringing together leaders, policymakers, experts, and innovators from around the world.
Around 35 world leaders have already confirmed their participation. Among them are Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez, and Switzerland’s President Guy Parmelin. Their presence highlights the global importance of the summit and its role as a key platform for international dialogue on governance and future challenges.
The summit will include 24 side events focusing on major global issues such as artificial intelligence, education reform, sustainability, and future-ready governments. In addition, more than 35 ministerial meetings will take place, allowing ministers from different countries to share experiences, discuss policy solutions, and explore opportunities for cooperation.
One of the major highlights will be the World Laureate Summit, which will bring together around 50 Nobel Prize winners. These laureates will share insights from their fields, discuss global problems, and offer ideas to help shape better policies for the future.
During the event, several international awards will also be presented. These will recognize achievements such as best minister, most reformed government, excellence in sustainability, and best teacher. The awards aim to encourage innovation, good governance, and positive change in public services worldwide.
The World Government Summit 2026 aims to strengthen cooperation between governments and the private sector. By bringing together leaders from different sectors, the summit seeks to find practical solutions to global challenges and help build more resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking societies.
