Global Village opened its 29th season today, welcoming visitors to explore a wide variety of cultures represented in 30 different pavilions. The atmosphere was full of excitement as people arrived to enjoy the many unique experiences on offer.
Among the visitors were Alexandra and Nathan Brooks, South African expats living in Abu Dhabi for the past two years. This was their first visit to Global Village, and they were amazed by its size and energy. “It’s huge! We didn’t even know today was the opening,” Alexandra said, clearly thrilled by what they had discovered.
Running until May 11, 2025, Global Village offers a mix of over 3,500 shopping outlets and 250 places to eat, making it a paradise for those who love to shop and sample new cuisines. Visitors can expect an exciting day filled with entertainment, cultural exhibits, and delicious food as they walk through the different pavilions.
