Bhojpuriya Restaurant, located in Dubai’s Al Muhaisnah 2, is changing the way affordable dining is experienced, especially for the city’s laborers.
This unique eatery serves delicious home-style meals at an incredibly low price—just Dh10 for three meals a day or Dh300 for an entire month. While the restaurant initially catered to construction workers, it has since gained popularity among food lovers who enjoy Bhojpuri cuisine.
Founded in 2020 by Indian expat Lokesh Mishra, Bhojpuriya Restaurant specializes in authentic North Indian dishes such as litti chokha, sattu, and daal bhaat, offering a taste of home to many.
Even during the challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, Mishra adapted by introducing a tiffin delivery service. This initiative provided a lifeline to workers by offering nutritious meals at just Dh3 per serving, ensuring they had access to affordable food during tough times.
Today, Bhojpuriya continues to serve as a beacon of comfort and quality, bringing people together over hearty, homemade meals.
