The United Arab Emirates is likely to experience light rainfall in several regions on Sunday, as forecasted by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Weather conditions are expected to range from partly cloudy to fully cloudy skies at times, creating a relatively pleasant atmosphere across much of the country. The chances of rain will be higher over island areas, coastal belts, and northern regions, where brief showers may occur intermittently throughout the day.
Winds are expected to blow from the northwest at speeds between 15 to 25 km/h, with occasional gusts reaching up to 40 km/h. These winds could lead to blowing dust in some open areas and may also influence sea conditions. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman are predicted to remain slight to moderate during the day, but conditions could become rougher by evening, particularly offshore. Residents planning marine activities are advised to stay cautious as weather conditions may shift later in the day.
Temperatures across major cities are expected to stay relatively mild, ranging between 28°C and 32°C during daytime hours. However, humidity levels are likely to increase significantly during the night, especially in coastal areas, where it could rise to around 90 percent. This may lead to a more humid and slightly uncomfortable atmosphere after sunset despite the otherwise moderate temperatures.
