Major Exit on Sharjah-Al Dhaid Road Closed from April 18 to 21

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Sharjah has announced that one of the key exits on the Sharjah–Al Dhaid Road will be temporarily closed to allow for ongoing infrastructure development.

The closure will affect Bridge No. 4, which leads to Al Dhaid City. The exit will remain closed from Friday, April 18 to Monday, April 21. This update was shared by RTA Sharjah through their official account on X.

During this four-day period, motorists are advised to use alternate routes and follow traffic safety signs to avoid inconvenience. Drivers are also encouraged to leave early and plan ahead to ensure a smooth journey.

The temporary closure is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to improve road conditions and enhance the overall driving experience. While it may cause minor delays for a few days, these changes are expected to make travel easier and safer for everyone in the long run.

In a separate development, those traveling from Sharjah to Dubai have welcomed the recent opening of a new bridge in the Al Shindagha area. This new addition is helping reduce traffic congestion and improving the daily commute for drivers moving between the two cities.

The RTA appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this time and continues to work towards creating safer and more efficient roadways across the region.
