The new MGM Tower in Dubai is steadily moving forward and is already five floors above the ground, according to William Hornbuckle, the CEO of MGM Resorts International. The tower is expected to be finished by the third quarter of 2027 and is shaping up to be a major new addition to Dubai’s luxury hotel and resort scene.
Hornbuckle shared his excitement about the project during a recent earnings call, saying, “It’s a very exciting project—a one-of-a-kind resort with a lot of potential. We also hope to introduce gaming in the future if possible.”
The MGM Tower will be part of a larger, 26-acre development right on the beach. This development will also include the MGM Hotel, the MGM Residences, and the very first Bellagio Hotel in the Middle East. Both MGM and Bellagio are famous hospitality brands, and this project marks their first time entering the region. The development is being built in partnership with Wasl Hospitality and Leisure, a major developer based in Dubai.
When completed, this impressive beachfront destination will offer world-class accommodation, entertainment, and leisure experiences, further strengthening Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for luxury and tourism.
