Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has completed a major road development project that will make it much easier and faster for people to travel to and from the Al Warqa area. The project has added new entry and exit points connecting Al Warqa directly to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, one of the city’s busiest highways.
This important upgrade is expected to open to the public next week. Once it’s open, travel time between Al Warqa and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road will be reduced from 20 minutes to just 3.5 minutes. This means residents, commuters, and visitors will be able to reach their destinations much faster and with less stress.
The project will also help reduce traffic congestion by increasing the road’s capacity. It is designed to handle an additional 5,000 vehicles every hour, which will improve the overall traffic flow in the area and reduce delays, especially during rush hours.
This development is part of RTA’s long-term plan to enhance urban mobility and upgrade transportation infrastructure across Dubai. By making roads more efficient and better connected, the RTA is working to make everyday travel smoother, safer, and more convenient for everyone living in or visiting the emirate.
