The Abu Dhabi Mobility Center has introduced new speed limits on two major highways in an effort to improve road safety for all drivers.
On Sweihan Road (E20), which connects Abu Dhabi to the town of Sweihan, the speed limit has been reduced from 120 kilometers per hour to 100 kilometers per hour. This change is intended to help reduce accidents and make travel along this route safer.
Similarly, a change has been made on Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed International Road (E11), the highway that links Abu Dhabi Industrial City to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. Here, the speed limit has been lowered from 160 kilometers per hour to 140 kilometers per hour.
Authorities are requesting all motorists and road users to strictly follow these new speed limits. Adhering to the updated rules will help ensure a safer and smoother journey for everyone traveling on these busy roads.
