The UAE has expanded its Golden Visa program to include more categories, making it easier for people in education, gaming, and the luxury sectors to apply for long-term residency.
Teachers and educators based in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah are now eligible to apply for this special visa, giving them the chance to secure long-term residency in recognition of their contributions to the education sector. In addition, a new Gaming Visa has been introduced in Dubai to support the rapidly growing e-sports and gaming industry, which is attracting global attention.
Abu Dhabi has also taken steps to attract high-net-worth individuals by offering a 10-year Golden Visa to luxury yacht owners under the ‘Abu Dhabi Golden Quay’ initiative. This move highlights the city’s aim to enhance its appeal as a hub for luxury and investment.
These new changes show the UAE’s focus on fostering innovation, supporting top talent, and attracting investments to strengthen its economy further. The program reflects the country’s ongoing efforts to create opportunities and build a future-ready society.
