Starting from January 12, authorities in Abu Dhabi will introduce paid parking in the Musaffah area as part of an effort to improve traffic flow and manage the growing demand for parking spaces in this busy industrial and commercial district. This new system will cover several sectors, including M1, M2, M3, M4, and M24, offering a total of 4,680 parking spaces. The system will also include special parking bays for People of Determination to ensure greater accessibility for everyone.
The parking fees will be set at Dh2 per hour, and payment can be made through the Darb and Tamm apps, via SMS, or at on-site machines. The goal behind this initiative is to make the area more accessible, improve road safety, and help support the local economy by ensuring that businesses and visitors have a more organized and efficient parking system.
This change is expected to have a positive impact on both the flow of traffic and the overall experience of those who visit or work in Musaffah.
