Pakistani Startup COLABS Expands to Saudi Arabia

Pakistani flexible workspace startup COLABS is speeding up its expansion plans by entering the Saudi Arabian market, which it sees as a major growth opportunity under the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 programme.

Founded in 2019, COLABS has established a strong footprint in Pakistan, particularly in Karachi and Lahore. The company is known not only for providing modern coworking spaces but also for offering complete company setup and support services, helping startups and businesses grow from the ground up.

According to CEO Omar Shah, achieving $100 million in revenue could take many years in Pakistan due to market size and spending capacity. In contrast, Saudi Arabia offers much faster growth potential, with higher demand, stronger purchasing power, and a rapidly expanding startup ecosystem supported by government initiatives and private investment.

COLABS has already begun work on its first campus in Riyadh, marking its official entry into the Saudi market. The company plans to replicate its successful, community-focused model by creating spaces that encourage collaboration, innovation, and business networking.

Looking ahead, COLABS aims to use Saudi Arabia as a launchpad to expand across the Gulf region and the wider Middle East and North Africa. This move reflects the startup’s ambition to become a leading regional player in the flexible workspace sector while showcasing the growing global reach of Pakistani-founded companies.
