Ras Al Khaimah Police Seize 491 Unlicensed Bikes in Road Safety Campaign

A large traffic safety campaign was recently carried out in Ras Al Khaimah, where authorities seized 491 unlicensed bikes. These included motorcycles, regular bicycles, and electric scooters. The campaign was organized by the Traffic Investigations and Control Section and took place from April 22 to May 1.

The main goal of the campaign was to make the roads safer and reduce the number of accidents caused by people using bikes without proper licenses. It was launched under the direction of Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi and is part of the Ras Al Khaimah Police’s wider efforts to stop dangerous and unsafe behavior on the roads.

Police officials said that using unlicensed vehicles can be very risky—not just for the rider, but also for other people on the road. By taking strict action, the authorities hope to raise awareness and encourage safer travel habits in the community.

The Ras Al Khaimah Police are asking everyone to follow traffic laws, not only to avoid fines or penalties but also to help save lives and keep the roads safer for everyone.
