Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that registration is now open for the 14th edition of the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport 2026, held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed. The award encourages organisations, government departments, educational institutions, and transport experts to present their innovative ideas and solutions for promoting sustainable mobility.
The award includes several categories, such as Elite, Sustainability, Inclusivity, and Innovation. These categories recognise outstanding achievements in areas like pioneering transport practices, the use of clean energy, promoting safe and accessible transport, and creative projects by students.
This year, the award has been expanded to cover the wider MENA region, with a total of 12 awards now available. The initiative also promotes collaboration between different sectors and makes it easier for participants to register digitally, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to innovation and technology.
Through this award, Dubai aims to strengthen its position as a global leader in sustainable transport while encouraging organisations and individuals to develop solutions that improve mobility, reduce environmental impact, and create safer and more inclusive transport systems for everyone.
