Saudi Arabia has launched key initiatives to enhance the Umrah and pilgrimage experience ahead of Ramadan.
The Minister of Hajj and Umrah inaugurated a Smart Engineering Command and Control Center at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, enabling 24/7 monitoring of services through advanced digital systems.
In parallel, a nationwide awareness campaign, “Coming to Umrah?”, has been rolled out to guide pilgrims on services, procedures, and proper conduct.
Using digital platforms and on-ground communication across more than 18 touchpoints, the initiative aims to improve service quality and visitor experience in line with Vision 2030.
