Saudi Arabia has announced that it will start issuing Hajj visas to pilgrims from around the world beginning February 8, according to confirmation from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
Officials revealed that approximately 750,000 pilgrims have already completed their registrations, while nearly 30,000 Hajj packages have been booked directly from pilgrims’ home countries. The early rollout of the visa process aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, aimed at improving planning, preparedness, and overall comfort for worshippers ahead of the annual pilgrimage.
To accommodate international pilgrims, around 485 camps have been allocated, and 73 Hajj affairs offices have finalized their logistical and administrative arrangements. Authorities said these early preparations are intended to ensure a smoother, safer, and more organized Hajj experience for pilgrims arriving from across the globe.
